Situated in San Juan, a suburb of Alicante, this is another Seve design. The course is fairly flat with wide fairways and the greens are large and fast. An abundance of bunkers and lakes on 5 of the holes, help to make it an enjoyable and testing round of golf.

La Envia Golf and Country Club is surrounded by mountains which protect the 18 hole golf course from East and West winds, creating superb golfing conditions. This country club is an oasis in the middle of a spectacular desert, laid out in an irregular design, with many bunkers and lakes, which require accuracy, skill and expertise.

Located five kilometres from Roquetas de Mar in the Playa Serena Complex, this 18 hole course designed by Angel Gallardo and Peter Allis is mainly flat with small sloping greens. Almost all greens are well protected by sand and water traps and the wind from the East and west make this course a formidable challenge.

This is a well-established course in a relatively level situation with a wealth of trees and the chance of a breeze from the sea alongside. Lush vegetation affords a pleasant oasis-style contract with the arid mountains in the background. Wide fairways, large bunkers and huge water hazards in play on half a dozen holes the course is unquestionably American in style.

“If the gods of Olympus played golf the Glyfada’s Golf course would have been their first choice” Greece is not spoilt for choice in the golf course world, so the gods would probably come here anyway. But having said that, this is a very charming and well laid out course near the beach in Glyfada, trees line every fairway. All levels of golfer will enjoy a fair but testing round.

A mixture of a links and a woodland course, offering beautiful views over the sea and extraordinary landscape. A course located on the Ilha de São Miguel with breathtaking views typical to the Azores, especially on the second nine.

Regarded as among the best in Catalonia, this is a rugged golf course, with hazards such as rough ground, gullies, barrancas or dry river beds. Blind tee shots are common with bunkers being the best indication of direction, and the direct route over the hazards is often the best tactic.

The first nine holes are relatively short but technical. It is a fairly standard country course with long fairways, semi-rough and rough. The excellent greens are undulating and difficult.

The setting is impressive an distinctly rolling track that rises and falls within a thick. The contrast between the crisp fairways and greens and the broad expanse of wild woodland vegetation is delightful. The short oak trees and thick shrubbery should not come into play unless you are extremely wayward. The design has allowed for at least ten downhill drives with only one noticeable climb back, which was a good feat of routing.

The course is not particularly difficult but greens strategically placed and water hazards on many holes tend to make life more difficult on this all-together pleasant course. The Sitges Terramar Golf Course has recently undergone some alteration work and counts on some superb putting surfaces.
