Bob turned full pro at the age of 19 after passing all his exams and was appointed professional at Cardross Golf Club in Scotland. He then went on to join the Royal Malta Golf Club as Head Pro from 1984 - 1996 and then full time Golf Coach at Hilton Park from 1996 to 2006.
Bob is currently a Golf Pro at The Caprington Golf Club in Kilmarnock Scotland.
Ian joined the PGA in September 1989.
His notable acheivements include:
West of England professional champion
Represented England, winning the PGA European Team Championships
13 course records, lowest score 60 (-10)
7 holes in one
Jim started his career as assistant professional at Turnberry and Gleneagles 1960-62. He moved to Enfield in 1962 where he was offered sponsorship with the Butten Boys in 1964. Playing tournament golf from 1963-67, winning the Middlesex Assistants Championship. Played in The Open in 1963, 65 & 82. After stints at Cruise Hill, Ayr Belleisle and Gleneagles again, he joined Haggs Castle Golf Club as professional in 1980 and after 23 years, retired in 2003. In that time he won many one day events, but the highlight of his career was winning the televised Scottish Seniors Championship in 1995. He was coach to Steven Dundas and Barry Hume, who won the British Amateur and Scottish Amateur Championships. He is now an honorary member at Haggs Castle and a member of Turnberry golf club, where he can be found most days, playing the boys for ' cups of tea '
I was eighteen years old when I started my career in professional golf. Up until present day, my current position is within the cruise industry. I am employed by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, to operate onboard their ships, Flagship Golf. This job has a more corporate feel and client care is to the fore. It has taken me all round the world, playing golf in over thirty different countries. I have met some great people and made some great friendships, and its not over yet!!!
